A user is given one of three types of ‘rights’ to access a project:
- Read-only
- Write
- Admin
How do we determine your rights?
Rights are determined in the following order, with the later taking priority:
By Organisation
If your organisation owns the project, you will get read-only access. A Project Lead or Admin of the owning organisation is granted admin rights to all projects.
If your organisation is granted access to the project, you will get read-only access. If you are a Project Lead or Admin of the organisation which is granted, you will have any elevated rights granted to the organisation for the project.
By Team
If a team to which you belong is granted access to the project, you will receive the rights granted to that team.
If the rights from the team or organisation contradict, you will receive the higher rights.
By User
If you are included as a User or Project Lead in relation to a Project, you will be granted the rights specified.
By Role
If you are a Primary Lead, you will receive write access as a minimum.
